Been so busy!

We've been so busy. Aidan's had an ear infection, followed by a virus. He's teething. he's 6 months old today, you know! He's wearing size 12 mo, and weighs 22 lbs.(almost) he's got the doctor on monday, and gets bloodwork and shots if he's well. he's been sleeping in his crib at night, usually until 2-3 am. he still wants to eat at night.
Lucas is on his way to IL right now. If I have to give up a holiday, let it be easter, i guess. Lucas has also lost 2 teeth, one a week ago, and one today. theyre on the bottom, not right in front, but the next two. he has the cutest smile now!
i'm hungry and tired, so, i'm gonna go eat while Aidan is napping!

Man your kid is chunky monkey. Sam, as of yesterday, is 21 lb 9 oz, 30 in, and 1 year old. 22 lbs at 6 months??!? What are you feeding him!?

Well, after being sick for over 2 weeks, now going on 3 weeks, (it's possibly rsv, so says the ER Doc, and Aid's agreed,)he's slimmed down to a bit smaller, 20 lbs, 12 1/2 oz. so, he's still got a bit of growning before he catches up, again. I'd say, give him a week. And he's 29 inches, lol. My little gigantor. I dunno, it must be the milk. Or the smushed greenbeans.

Why don't they just do an RSV test on him? It was easy on Sam. She was pissed about the nose deal but not for long, 2-3 minutes. I know they can't treat it directly (the nebulizer is really an aid for breathing not medication) but it needs to be monitored if it is RSV. Knowing what Sam had was only half the battle but b/c of complications etc we had to monitor and she wound up at the hospital 3 times. New dr man.....

Well, they said he should be getting over it now, and he seems to be, he's made it though all the bad stuff, and now only has the littlest occasional cough. It was pretty bad in the middle though. He couldn't eat well, and when he was finally full, he'd cough until he threw up. I think I spent 2 weeks sleeping sitting up in the rocking chair surrounded by humidifiers, patting him to help with all the crud. but he's better now, so yay! I rode it out, because when he first started getting sick, we had a checkup, and the nurse practitioner, (the only person available,) went, "oh, it's just a virus, it'll pass..." I refuse to see her anymore. I thought the nurses head was gonna spin off, or her eyes were gonna fall out, last time we were cheduling his 9 months appointment. She goes "well, I'll put you with the nurse on blah-blah at 9." And I almost barked, "No!I want to him see a real doctor." She double taked, bugged her eyes, Looked into her book and went, "Ok, ma'am, hows the ___ at 2:15?"
Poor little guy though, he started sucking his hands in his crib, and somehow, gave himself a blister, and it got intected. he had to take a course of antibiotics, but he can get his shots next week now. We were really lucky though, it could've gotten so much worse.

Ok, so wanna talk abt retarded people in dr office? sam has had this rash for weeks. we put cream to no avail. she went in for her one year and they gave us some diff cream. i was looking, really looking one day and thought, wow thats a yeast infection (all over the outside blistery and itchy and gross) the next day or so her tacher said, have yuou noticed....looks like a yeast infection. now her DOCTOR looked at the same thing a few days before and didnt say anything and her magic cream doesnt work. so now we are trying otc stuff (1/2 dose) to try and get it down. getting new dr.....again.
